The engineer will be providing day to day network, Video Conferencing, and IP Telephony support. This role is a hands-on role where you are required to provide support, troubleshoot issues and be responsible for the assigned SLA.
Day to day technical support and network data and voice infrastructure
Install and configure / provision new IP telephony systems for end users
To maintain an efficient operation of IT Network Cabling system
Analyze the problem and resolve the problem with minimum disruption to end users
To coordinate with contractors, service providers, and corporate IT to implement and maintain the LAN, WAN and Telecom Infrastructure
Initiate and follow-up on critical issues with the vendor where necessary
Document system processes and procedures
Support project initiatives as and when required
Escalation to a higher level when needed according to support matrix
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
2 to 3 years of supporting data and voice networks
Independent, self-motivated and dynamic personality
Client Oriented and a team player
Good communication (both verbal and written English) skills
Sharp analytical mind and good troubleshooting skills
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Proficient in supporting LAN, WAN Video Conferencing Systems and IP Telephony systems
Certification in any field of the network will be an added advantage
Familiar with Cisco Systems, Cat 7 cabling, and Siemens PABX
Worked with an enterprise ticketing system before
